About
Built on the web
since 1996.
I've spent over 20 years at the intersection of technology and people — building systems, leading teams, and trying to figure out which innovations actually matter and which are noise.
Professional Journey
My career in technology started in 1996, when the web was new, the rules hadn't been written, and nobody really knew what "web development" meant yet. I learned by building — hand-coding HTML, figuring out what worked, and staying curious about what came next.
That curiosity has been the constant. Over two decades, I've moved from individual contributor to team lead to senior technology leader, but the core work has always been the same: understand the problem clearly, build the right team, and make sure the technology actually serves the people using it.
At Fluke Corporation, I lead Commercial Technology web development — managing legacy modernization, AI-augmented development practices, and enterprise platform migrations. Recent projects include a zero-disruption DAM platform migration, security infrastructure improvements that moved our Bitsight score, and maintaining sprint velocity through significant team transitions.
"I translate technical complexity into business language, build teams that adapt quickly to change, and make technology investments that compound over time."
What distinguishes my approach is perspective. Having navigated web development from early internet adoption through today's AI-driven automation, I've seen enough hype cycles to know which innovations matter and which are noise. That pattern recognition is something I bring to every project.

Beyond Technology
I believe technology should serve people and communities — not the other way around. That conviction shows up in my volunteer work as a Group Facilitator at Journey Free, and as a volunteer writer for non-profit organizations. The best engineering decisions I've made have all started with understanding the human side of the problem.
Kevin is smart, professional, calm, and has strong technical skills combined with excellent client relationship abilities.
